Today (16th March, 2025 ) The ORD/FAO Khost team conducted a successful distribution of Persimmon,fruit saplings to 243 eligible households in Center Maton Khost province, under the UNJP/AFG/133/UNJ-SE1 project. Each beneficiary received 10 saplings, intended for the establishment of standard Persimmon. Additionally, recipients were provided with both theoretical and Practical training, so they can learn how to plant and water saplings on their land. The distribution process was subject to meticulous monitoring by representatives from the Directorate of Agriculture of Khost province "And by the representative of TPM.
The ORD/FAO Khost team conducted a successful distribution of pear fruit saplings to five eligible households in the Nadershah Kot District of Khost province, under the OSRO/AFG/140/WBK project. Each beneficiary received 700 saplings, intended for the establishment of standard orchards. The distribution process was subject to meticulous monitoring by representatives from the Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock (DAIL) of Khost province.
According to the plan, from 2/3/2025 to 5/3/2025." In Maton ( Lakan & Cheghai) Village and in Sabari District of Khost Province, The ORD/FAO Khost team successfully distributed Cash for Work ( CFW) and Unconditional Cash Transfer (UCT) for Targeted 660 eligible households as part of the project (UNJP/AFG/133/UNJ-SE1). Each beneficiary received 100 USD for CFW and 84 USD for UCT . The distribution process was meticulously monitored by representatives from the DoE and DAIL of Khost Province to ensure compliance and effectiveness
